From The Bothy you can walk straight out onto the open forest and we are a minute from a new forest cycle route. We don’t mind muddy walking boots and have a barn in the garden that bikes can be stored.

Take a look at our useful links page for pubs and restaurants in the area, and would recommend that our guests book in advance for a Saturday night. There is a village pub in walking distance that prepares fresh food.

We keep a small stock of leaflets on attractions in the area for our guests and will always be happy to share our experiences of where we have been.

There is a Tourist Information Office (tel: 01425 654 560) in Fordingbridge which opens at Easter and others in Ringwood and Salisbury open all year.
